The 5Rhythms moving meditation/dance practice, created by Gabrielle Roth, is a beautiful path of release, healing, and ultimately, true self-acceptance. By moving through the rhythms, Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness, we explore the nature of who we are and how our energy moves in this life. Wonderful music from all genres invites the exploration of each rhythm as well as some gentle guidance.
Open to all abilities and levels of experience. Seasoned dancers, as well as beginners, will benefit from embodied awareness fostered by the 5Rhythms concepts set in motion.
Heeraa Sazevich, a certified 5Rhythms® teacher, has passionately explored the field of embodied consciousness for over 20 years. Blessed with edge-walking teachers Osho and Gabrielle Roth, the journey to freedom through moving meditation is her clear path to walk and share. Based in communities she fostered over 12 years in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Sun Valley, Idaho, she also travels to facilitate 5Rhythms® workshops.

Sweat Your Prayers: Dancing the Elements Series

Embodying the energies of the elements Earth, Air, Fire and Water in movement profoundly informs us about our relationships to their inherent qualities. Are we grounded? Where is our passion? Can we flow with changes? What is our connection to playfulness? Using the open field of the Sweat Your Prayers dance, we will focus on one element a week with a few guided structures to start each session.
Participants are encouraged to wear clothes  that express the theme.
