With Marma therapy we harmonize our prana (primary vitality) in the physical body, the most direct method available to enhance health and longevity, and for the treatment of a variety of disorders. Energy points (marma) range in size, from the large area at the navel, to the smaller center at the sole of the feet. We will work with Aroma therapy, applying specific aromatic oils to the marma, learning to treat headaches, insomnia, digestive problems, inflammation and stagnation/congestion.
This is an interactive workshop, combining yoga poses (asana), breath work (pranayama), acupressure and gentle massage. We will close with a guided relaxation moving through the eighteen yogic pranic control points, creating balance and vitality. No prior yoga knowledge is necessary, just bring your curiosity. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
