Embark on a rich journey of self-discovery during this weekend of Person-Centered Expressive Arts. Uncover some of your deep potential within. Expressive Arts integrates movement, art, sound and creative writing to connect to our body, psyche, soul, bridging our inner and outer worlds. This creative process arises from our life force energy. The creative spirit each of us longs to emerge, be known, and be celebrated.
Katherine is honored to share the work of Dr. Natalie Rogers, PhD, celebrating her beautiful life this weekend, coinciding with Dr. Rogers’ memorial service in Santa Rosa, CA. Natalie Rogers worked closely with her father, the renowned psychologist, Dr. Carl Rogers. She combined person-centered psychotherapy with use of the arts to promote profound healing.
Katherine Kirk is a professional therapist, known for her deep compassion, working outside the therapy framework for these events. Katherine offers the expressive arts as a medium for self discovery, and serious play as an invitation to connect to the body, psych and soul. Her current work is deeply inspired by the late, Dr. Natalie Rogers. She recently completed a two year post-graduate certificate program in Person-Centered Expressive Arts through Sofia University in California. Katherine’s joyful work is also inspired by her training as a Nia White Belt.
