Simple chants, prayers and affirmations sung aloud to bring in the New Year with devotion and gratitude. Chants will be called back and forth with audience participation. Come sing, dance, meditate or simply listen and be part of this sacred community gathering. Wade has recorded 6 world mantra albums blending his love for folk, dance and meditation. A few moons ago when Wade was leading a New Year’s chant at Kripalu Center in Massachusetts to over 800 people he realized the power of group prayer and meditation combined with the most universal language of all: music ????

In his twenties Wade adventured on 4 separate occasions to India for many months to study with Pattabhi Jois, B.K.S Iyengar, T.K.V. Desikachar and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. It was during these trips of yoga studies where he began to bring in his music sensibilities and merge them with mantras and English chants. What better way to meditate then to sing ???? Gods name in all its different forms?

“Like most of us, we have had the experience of turning the New Year’s eve celebration into a mindless debauchery of unconsciousness” Wade said. “Instead, being with a like minded group where together we can open our hearts and focus our minds with intentionality is the only way to go moving forward”
