4:30- 5:30 PM
Give your child a delightful chance to dance, have fun and connect with other kids in this series. Siblings often love taking the series together!
Shai’s safe and playful environment provides an opportunity for keiki to explore their deep authentic self and develop confidence to express themselves their own special way.
This series promotes positive growth by focusing on emotions, connections, friendships, movement and music. We play in groups as well as individually exploring body movements, using music, interactive games and stories to develop self expression, self confidence and healthy balance between hearing and being heard.
Meanwhile, you can take a same-time adult Aerial Yoga class for a great transition between your daytime and evening duties while the kids are having a blast and blowing off steam! Or use the time to shop at Whole Foods across the street.
And schedule another time for yourself to deeply relax in a Thai Yoga Massage session with Shai.
See you soon!

Circus Club members delight in learning acro-yoga and juggling skills in a light-hearted, no-pressure environment. They approach every activity from an imaginative, playful image – such as going to the zoo, the playground or outer space! Unbeknownst to themselves, the children develop their ability to focus, integrate the right and left hemispheres of their brains and increase their eye/hand coordination. They also hone their proprioception (knowing where they are in space), heighten their sense of balance, and directly relate to other children in a fun, non-competitive context.
These no-fail activities keep children in their parasympathetic nervous system, rather than in the sympathetic nervous system. That means they don’t need to go into the adrenaline pumping, fight-or-flight primitive brain. Children flourish and do their best when they stay in what could be called their ‘Buddha mind’, without any fear of failure. Here no one has to be perfect. Everyone can be successful.
Developed in the Waldorf Schools, this program is designed to clear and strengthen neurological pathways. Juggling has been shown to increase the growth of synapses in the speech area of the brain. Concentration naturally increases. In acro-yoga children work as partners, learning social skills, self-confidence and trust. This is an age-appropriate activity for body-mind-spirit integration.
Regina Lumsden hails from Sao Paulo state in Brazil (hence her charming accent!) where she took her Physical Education degree. In England, she trained in the Eurythmy and Spatial Dynamics, which she likens to soul gymnastics. She has shared this work with children in Waldorf school, also incorporating in Remedial Sensory Integration for children with learning differences, which deals with stages of neurological development. Regina feels blessed to have given birth to her own beautiful daughter and son, now moving toward adulthood.
