Establish a strong, stable foundation for all of your daily activities, recreation and movement practices. The feet are the foundation of the entire human body. Many tiny stabilizing and balancing joints exist in the feet. The ankle joint’s rotational and hinging movement affects our balance and stability. Knee problems often arise from habitual mis-alignment of the bones in the feet and ankles as we stand and walk. This workshop will begin by addressing alignment, then move on to targeted strengthening and conditioning exercises to prevent such issues as plantar fasciitis, achilles tendon problems, shin splints and knee pain.
