Miranda Rudegeair has spent the last 13 years as a personal trainer and taught body jam, zumba, jazz and hip hop all over Melbourne, Mexico, Chicago, Miami and Hawaii. She is now the Australian Master Trainer for TheGROOVE. For Lisa-Maria Priester, the dance party of choice is GROOVE. She has developed her love of music and movement through many formative years on the dance floor, singing professionally, and completing the Nia White Belt Training in 2012. Lisa-Maria’s Passion for GROOVE continues to pave the way for the World Groove Movement in Hawaii.

Start your New Year feeling good, getting fit, tuning in and honouring your body with this nourishing movement course. You will learn simple dance moves that challenge your cardio fitness, strength, flexibility, rhythm. Your job will be to make them feel good! See you on the dance floor!
Week 1: Saturday, Jan 3
‘Your way is the right way’! Explore how your body moves and become conscious of how YOU can make your body feel good when you really pay attention.
Week 2: Saturday, Jan 10
‘You can’t get it wrong’! We have spent years and years learning the ‘right’ way to do things! Well, what if you COULD NOT get it wrong. Dance with us as we explore what that actually feels like!
Week 3: Saturday, Jan 17
‘No one cares what you look like’! Easy to say right? Join us in a dance where there in no one looking at you. Your eyes are closed, and you can take just a moment to communicate with your own body about its needs.
Week 4: Saturday, Jan 24
‘To understand it, you have to experience it’! There is no use just talking about it, your body and mind must truly feel something of you to understand it completely. What would it feel like to make dance simply feel good, without concerning ourselves with the aesthetics?
Week 5: Saturday, Jan 30
‘No one can do it for you’! It’s easy to follow a leader, or take instructions and let other people guide you. But what if you made the rules, and then got in there are tried them out, with confidence that you could not fail?
