Re-balance, restore and realign forgotten muscles, connective tissue and organs. Usually when we think of muscles we think of the bigger muscles like hamstrings or stomach muscles. Yet we rarely give attention to many important, sometimes deep, small muscles, such as the ones that move the sphincter, the mouth, eyes or the vertebrae of spine.
These muscle groups are often very unbalanced, just as one side of a person’s face and mouth may move quite differently than the other. Crooked and inefficient usage shows up as an inherent imbalance in the system. Organs like the lungs and the intestines can be inhibited to work efficiently because of tight inner muscles.
By practicing Feldenkrais® on 2 consecutive weekends, September 10 & 17, you give yourself the chance to transform your life in ways that go far beyond your musculature. You will be surprised with the results, once you start moving with awareness to balance unnoticed parts of your body. The two days build upon each other, yet each workshop can be taken singularly.
