Vivian Best

Vivian became a mother in August 2014, and has a deep compassion for the physical and emotional changes that women undergo during pregnancy and new motherhood. As a Feldenkrais practitioner, she had many tools during her own pregnancy and postpartum that helped to address hip and back pain, pelvic discomfort, carpal tunnel symptoms and more, and she has shared from her experiences in her workshops.

Vivian took Bradley Method classes during pregnancy and had a successful home birth after 23 hours of labor.  She loves babywearing, co-sleeping and breastfeeding and wants to support moms in finding comfort for themselves through these journeys.   After having her daughter, Vivian also facilitated two mother support groups, which eventually led to the founding of Piko Pals, in partnership with the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition. She has a passion for helping mothers to connect with their bodies and each other in meaningful ways.
