Meet Our Compass Rose Life Skills Navigators

MEGHAN KAKUHIHEWA AKIM

Meghan (Meg) grew up on Oahu, graduating from Punahou School, Class of 2007. She attended Duke University and graduated with her BA in Neuroscience in 2012. Throughout Meg’s high school and college years and since, she has immersed herself in leadership roles, community service projects and her love for creativity and multi-cultural diversity.

Recently Meg became a Certified Life Coach, Certified Social/Emotional Coach & Certified Motivational Coach with Global NLP. She is co-founder of Compass Rose Consultants and designs and presents Life Skills & Social/Emotional Intelligence Enrichment Workshops for children and adolescents. Meg works in school photography and loves travel, education and meeting people.

SUZANNE GRAHAM AKIM

Suzanne moved from the Northeast to Hawaii with a BA in Sociology and a Certification in Secondary Education (Fairfield University, CT). Her life experience spans education (teaching grades K to 12), a background in law as a paralegal and many happy years of motherhood.

Suzanne, co-founder of Compass Rose Consultants, is partnering with her daughter, Meg, on the curricula and learning outcomes for their Life Skills and Social/Emotional Intelligence Workshops. Her personal interests include advocating for children, adolescents & elders, travel, cooking, entertaining, and cherishing time with family & friends.
