Michael Merrimer, who used to teach Easy Does It Yoga at Still & Moving Center, was diagnosed with bladder cancer in June. He is undergoing 12 weeks of chemotherapy, after which his bladder will be removed and replaced.

Michael has been doing his best to maintain a full work and teaching schedule since this life challenge began and has continued to serve as many yoga and massage clients as possible. He not only deeply cares about their health and wellness, but also relies solely on the income his business generates.  

Now, half way through his chemotherapy, the cancer and the treatments are taking a real toll on his energy reserves. He needs to slow way down to heal and prepare for the upcoming bladder replacement surgery after the holidays.

We’d like to support him so he can take the time he needs off from work to manage his health.

Still & Moving Center will match every dollar donated with another dollar.

During the campaign week, Dec 14-20,  our current teachers who choose to participate will teach ‘one student for Michael’ per class, meaning that they will contribute their pay for one student of each class for that week towards Michael’s fundraiser.
