Tania and Rupali are continuing their workshop series, this time with the emphasis on the internals of yoga: What’s happening when I breathe? Where are these mysterious bandhas? How do I develop a personal pranayama practice and why? Do I really need to meditate to be a yogi?

These monthly clinics with Tania Jo Ingrahm and Rupali Embry are each designed to stand alone—however, you’ll get even more value by taking all four.

December 13 – The essentials of mastering the bandhas: Oh, those mysterious bandhas! In this session, we’ll cover what they are, where they are, how to find them and why you should care. You’ll learn how they can assist you in your asana, pranayama and meditation practices—and by the end of this workshop, you’ll know how to use them to create stability, energy and lift-off in your life.

January 14, 2015 – How to build a personal pranayama practice: As yogis we spend a lot of time talking about yoga postures, and yet the importance of the breath cannot be overlooked. It is the gateway to the deeper practices so mastering it is the first step. A seated pranayama practice can be a life-saver in times of turmoil and personal challenge. Come learn a few techniques to get you started and discover how to befriend the breath in new ways. As usual the conversation will include the nuts and bolts as well as the philosophy behind the practices.

February 14, 2015 – How to build a personal meditation practice: Have you been wanting to develop the tapas (inner fire, heat, dedication) to start or continue a meditation practice? Let us help! This could be the start of a beautiful relationship—with yourself. Learn how to build up your meditation muscles and stay steady when the world is pulling you in all directions. Even if you’re just curious about meditation, this workshop can help answer your questions and get you started. As the quote attributed to James Carville says, “The best time to plant an oak tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”
