Workshop for all levels. The practice of aerial yoga is a great way to increase your strength and flexibility. As we get stronger and more pliable, our movements in the air become more effortless. In this class we will use the hammock to increase strength and build a connection from the core muscles to the arms and legs. Learn to lift the weight of the body through a deeper awareness of theconnections from spine to fingertip. Through strength and awareness we can increase our range of motion and mobility. Learn how to use the hammock to release chronic tightness in the hamstrings, hips, shoulders and spine. With new found strength and flexibility we can gain access to deeper back bends, splits and straddles.

wendi lynchWendi  Lynch is a RYT-200, Unnata Aerial certified yoga instructor, having been a devoted student of yoga since 2002. She is continually expanding her knowledge of the architecture of the body and how it relates to the poses and the hammock. After falling in love with the trapeze arts in 2008 she naturally gravitated to aerial yoga, training with Michelle Dortignac, founder of Unnata Aerial Yoga, in 2010. The de-compressive qualities of the practice led her to a fluidity and depth of practice she had not experienced before.
